If you are a writer, you know this well: writing and editing is hard, time-consuming work. A good writer-editor can frequently see things that we ourselves cannot after looking many times. Proper editing can not only help with language correctness, clarity and quality, it can contribute significantly to the strength with which ideas are put forth.
Words can make all the difference, and with our writing skills slipping noticeably in the U.S., a document precisely written stands out even more. I feel this so strongly, I am willing to take several pages from any document of your choosing, and show you how a good editor can help. And I’ll do it free (more in the “about” page).
I am offering help. I have written and edited hundreds of papers of my own, and edited many times that number for colleagues.
After decades of writing and editing, I have learned that the way things are said can be as important as what is said. I will help you communicate your message to others in the best possible way: strong, clear, effective, efficient, and mistake-free. I have written and edited in many disciplines. My goal will be to give your words and numbers, and therefore your message, maximum clarity and power.
What I offer: To help you communicate your message to others in the best possible way: strong, clear, effective, efficient, and mistake-free. I can optimize your chances of getting your message across precisely the way you want to.
Qualifications: If you want an editor at all, why me? After all, there are other editors.
—I have written planning, research, assessment, and other parts of many grant proposals for 30 years
— A Bachelor’s in liberal arts and a doctorate in research, measurement and statistics provides me with a bit of an edge over most editors.

—I have more than thirty years’experience as an accomplished researcher, writer and editor of both my own papers and editor of those of scores of colleagues.

presentations, and sections of scores of grant proposals. I have edited all of these, and in excess of 1000 others for many colleagues.
No one will outwork me; no one will work harder on your job.
